In this respect I think he is a rather unique editor to have come in contact with. There are not many walls keeping him stuck into one genre because of his experiences.

Seth Estrada and I setup the interview with Darren Holmes to be with a few students studying film over at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. During the call Seth is with Darren at Dreamworks in Glendale, California and I am with a few students and faculty in Provo.

Darren is now working with Dreamworks full time working on a few different animated features. Many thanks to Darren. He’s been great to talk to. Listen to his story here on how he got into the business and about several of his experiences working in the industry.
