Come sit in on some instruction I give to a seasoned FCP editor, Aaron White, on some Avid instruction. Some points I go over in this video include;
Selecting clips on the tracks using the keyboard.
Selecting specific tracks (only V1 versus V1, A1, A2). This is what controls where your clips go from the source monitor as well.
Finding duplicate clips in your timeline or sequence.
Build an all b-roll sequence to go through rather than double clicking on each individual clip.
